What this application does

Additional Email Access is a private utility operated by Nick Massa. It uses the Gmail API only after an account holder explicitly authorizes access.

Google data accessed

The application requests only https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. This permits viewing Gmail profile information, mailbox metadata, and message content. It does not permit sending, drafting, labeling, modifying, or deleting email.

How Google data is used

Authorized Gmail data is used only to complete private, user-directed reading, search, summarization, and organizational workflows. At the user's direction, Codex or Claude Code may process that data solely to perform those requested workflows.

Storage and security

OAuth client credentials and account refresh tokens are stored locally on Nick Massa's Mac in files restricted to its owner. They are not stored on this website. Access can be revoked at any time from the connected Google account.

Sharing, sale, and advertising

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared for unrelated purposes. It is not made available to the public.

Retention and deletion

OAuth tokens remain on the local device until access is revoked or the local token files are deleted. Any transient data handled during a requested workflow is retained only as needed to complete that workflow or as explicitly saved by the user.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
